Movado Metio 606000 Men’s Watch: A Tradition of Design
Movado hasn’t let up in its creation of stylish timepiece designs since its founding in 1881 by a 19 year old entrepreneur from the small village La Chaux de Fonds in Switzerland. Its Metio 606000 men’s watch is a good example of that 119 year old design ethic. It is a fairly simplistic creation with quite a bit of well placed sparkle to draw the eye without being over the top. The overall design suggests precision, which is a good thing for a watch to do.
The Movado Metio 606000 is in a solid stainless steel case. Its stationary bezel is set with six clusters of seven diamonds, evenly spaced. The bracelet is also stainless steel, with a secure deployment clasp. This men’s watch keeps to its relative design simplicity by having only minute and second hands, both of which are the color silver against a museum black background, which includes diamond hour markers and the Movado noon dot. This dial face is protected by a scratch resistant sapphire window. The Metio 606000 has Swiss quartz movement and is water resistant up to 99 feet.
The Movado Metio 606000 men’s watch retails for $2,495 at authorized Movado sellers. It comes with a limited two year manufacturer’s warranty.
